Josh Walker

Contemporary Worship Leader

Josh was born and raised in Shalimar, Florida. He was married to his beautiful wife Ashley in December of 2005. On January 15, 2009, their first child Jonah David was born.

Josh went to Huntingdon College and played baseball for a year until God lead him back to Fort Walton Beach to start a lawn maintenance company. Josh operated a successful lawn maintenance company for 5 years until he was called into the ministry.

He first served at Shalimar United Methodist Church as Assistant Youth Director/ Worship Leader. He then continued his call to the ministry by serving as Contemporary Worship leader at Keith Memorial United Methodist in Athens Tennessee, Eglin Air Force Base Contemporary Chapel, and Trinity United Methodist Church in Fort Walton Beach. He has had the opportunity to lead worship for many different college, youth, and community events throughout the years as well.

Josh is currently continuing to pursue a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Ministry through The Baptist College of Florida's online campus.

Josh's passion and desire is to make worship his lifestyle, honoring God in everything that he does.
