Dr. Herstel Carter

Congregational Care Pastor

Herstel CarterDr. Herstel Carter joined the staff as Congregational Care Pastor in March of 2005. He and his wife Isabel came to Niceville from the First United Methodist Church in Brandon, Florida where he had served as Congregational Care Pastor the previous seven years. Herstel is a retired Navy chaplain and is ordained as a Free Methodist.

He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Education and his Master of Christian Ministries degree from Seattle Pacific University; his Master of Divinity degree from Western Evangelical Seminary; his Master of Human Resource Management degree from Salve Regina University; and his Doctor of Ministry degree from Asbury Theological Seminary.
