Opportunities for ministry to the Nursing Home communities in Niceville:
Sing-Along at the Manor of Bluewater Bay
Every Thursday at The Manor, 9:30-10.30 a.m., a group provides fellowship and encouragement through music. If you love the old favorite hymns and 1930-40's music, this is the place for you. Join us for one Thursday a month, every week, or as you are able for an hour of singing and sharing God’s love.
Monthly Worship Service in a Niceville facility
One Sunday afternoon each month, the Mature Methodist Choir provides a worship service for the residents of one of our local facilities (The Manor, Sterling House, Superior Residence, and Twin Cities Pavilion) to include fellowship, singing and a devotional. We welcome anyone who would like to participate by visiting with the people, joining in the congregational singing, being a part of the choir, or providing a devotional thought. Come be a blessing and receive a blessing!
Communion Teams - Nursing Home & Homebound
On the first Sunday of each month, teams go out to provide the sacrament of the Holy Communion to the Body of Christ in our community who are unable to attend Worship services at the church. We invite you to participate as your schedule allows.
Other Opportunities:
Mature Methodist Choir
Usual Schedule: Wednesdays 3:30 p.m., Music Suite, Room 407.
Purpose: To provide an opportunity to share in the leadership of worship through music and to share this music with our community, especially in our monthly outreach to the nursing homes in our area.

Church Family Ministry (Congregational Care)
This team provides support and help to our church family during times of need with a meal, transportation, child care, and others. This team organizes funeral receptions and welcomes your participation with donations of food or with setting up the reception area.
Birthdays and Special Recognition
This team provides a warm and caring touch to senior adults of our church through our birthday card ministry. Participants select one month per year to assist by addressing the cards in their home.
