Welcome to the Active Adults 50 Plus Ministry of the Niceville United Methodist Church. We warmly welcome you to participate in our activities and programs, and join our community of people who are seeking Christ and who are growing and serving in His name!

This month you may want to join us for these events:
- Young at Heart: June 11 (Note: this is the 2nd Tuesday) - Heidi Blair of the USO will share the USO mission. Also that day, we will collect donations for the USO Center located at the Okaloosa Regional Airport. If you would like to participate, a suggested list is below. You may also drop off items up to June 10 in the Active Adults 50 Plus office.
- Suggested donations for USO:
- Jars of peanut butter
- Jars of jelly
- Bottled water
- Cans of soda
- Boxes of juice
- Cereal/Granola bars
- Individual bags of chips
- Individual bags of peanuts
- Popcorn kernels
- Quart size, Ziplock bags
- Paper Towels
- 6" plastic or foam plates
- 8 oz plastic or foam cups
- Foods that can be cooked in the microwave, and do not require refrigeration
- 2013 Mission Trips: Extreme Vision Camp (Visually Impaired Adults) will be held at Blue Lake Camp, Sept 29-Oct 2. The cost is only $50 because Blue Lake Camp and NUMC Bargain Box have subsidized some of the cost for you. This includes lodging, meals, transportation and program fees. Sign-ups are now being taken for this mission trip. Contact Barbara, bwilder@nicevilleumc.org, or 678-4411, ext 123.

- Explore Atlanta Monday-Friday, Sept. 23-27, departing at 7:30 a.m. We are excited to announce that we are taking a motor coach for this trip! We have a week full of activities planned for you, beginning with an Atlanta Braves baseball game. Also: Georgia Aquarium, Cyclorama, CNN Studio Tour, World of Coke, Stone Mountain, High Museum of Art, Atlanta History Center. Cost: $525 with double occupancy includes motor coach transportation, all admission fees, 5 meals, lodging and snacks and drinks. Trip limited to 44 participants. Departing from the Niceville campus at 7:30 a.m., with pick up at St Mark campus at 7:50 a.m. Deadline to sign up with deposit is June 1.
