Why... New Kids' Programming?

by Greg McKinnon
Why are we starting a separate kids’ worship service?

A: The 2nd–5th grade “Kids Worship 2” is an opportunity for kids to learn how to worship in an environment that is “kid friendly.” It will be a contemporary style service with Bible lessons, missionary projects and singing.

Why is the “Kids Worship 2” being held at 11:00?

A: The Fellowship Hall is the only room large enough to accommodate the service and it is only available at 11:00.

Q: Why is the 11:00 Children’s Sunday School being eliminated?

Although “Sunday School” will not be held at 11:00, the new “Kids Worship 2” for 2nd - 5th grades and the Children’s Church for the younger children will still offer children the opportunity to study God’s Word and be taught the Christian faith.

Why can’t families worship together any longer?

A: Even with the changes, there is no reason that families cannot still worship together. If a family has normally gone to 9:40 worship and then to Sunday School at 11:00, they can still worship together at 9:40 then at 11:00 the parents can go to Sunday School while the children go to “Kids Worship 2” or Children’s Church.

If you have any further questions about the new kids’ programming or if I can be of help in any way, please do not hesitate to give me a call.
