National Day of Prayer at Niceville City Hall, May 7, 2009

The National Day of Prayer was held on Thursday, May 7, 2009 in front of Niceville City Hall. Sponsored by the TCMA (Twin Cities Ministerial Association), Dr. Mike Mosley of Rocky Bayou Christian School distributed programs to people as they began to arrive, and the RBCS band played. Pastors from the Niceville/Val-P community led in prayer for our Churches (Dr. Mikd McGough), Government (Pastor Dan Friedsberg), Media (Mrs. Quin Sherrer), Educators (Dr. Donald Larson), Families (Rev. Rurel Ausley), Spiritual Awakening (Pastor Mickey Schneider), and our Community (Mr. Tom Wise). Quite a number of RBCS students attended, as well as a number from our own FUMC congregation, with 200+ in attendance. Plan to attend this important time of prayer for our country next year!
