Crates for Kenya - April 2007
On Saturday, April 28, our men's Saturday morning Bible Study group worked on a mission project to build crates to ship out to Kenya in a 20-foot container. The recipient will be an orphanage sponsored by Heart of the Bride ministry (one of our newest missionary partners), and run by Joel Karanja, a national that Jack and Bunny Wilson personally hired in various capacities during their mission work in Kenya. Joel has been called by the Lord to build this orphanage for approximately 60 children. So far, he and his wife Susan have taken in three boys. Our church is planning a trip out to help with the orphanage in Summer 2008. If you are interested in going, contact Jack Wilson at jackbunny_wilson@cox.net.
